Shipment Status

 

Status Definitions

  • Alerted: Shipment is entered into the system (Every shipment has this status initially).
  • Dispatched: The driver has been sent for the shipment (Pickup).
  • Recovered: The driver has picked up the shipment (Pickup).
  • Transferred: The shipment has been transferred to the carrier (Pickup).
  • Appointment: The time the shipment is due to be delivered (Delivery).
  • On Hand: The shipment is on hand and is available for delivery (Delivery, Misc, Transfer).
  • Out For Delivery: The shipment is on a truck and on the way to its destination (Delivery).
  • POD: The shipment has been delivered and the signer date, time, and name have been recorded (Delivery, Misc).
  • Transferred: The shipment move is complete and signer information has been entered (Transfer).

Status Workflow

Pickup:

  • (ALT) = Alerted
  • (DSP) = Dispatched
  • (RCV) = Recovered
  • (XFR) = Transferred

Delivery:

  • (ALT) = Alerted
  • (APPT) = Appointment
  • (OH) = On Hand
  • (OFD) = Out For Delivery
  • (POD) = Delivery POD

Door to Door & Pickup/Delivery:

  • (ALT) = Alerted
  • (DSP) = Dispatched
  • (RCV) = Recovered
  • (APPT) = Appointment
  • (OH) = On Hand
  • (OFD) = Out For Delivery
  • (POD) = Delivery POD

Transfer:

  • (ALT) = Alerted
  • (OH) = On Hand
  • (XFR) = Transferred

Misc:

  • (ALT) = Alerted
  • (OH) = On Hand
  • (POD) = Delivery POD
