Processing EDI Inbound Alerts

Accessing The Screen:

• Select Process -> Inbound Alerts

Summary:
The Inbound Alerts screen allows you to process incoming alerts send from a third party. The inbound alerts not only saves entry time, but sends a confirmation message back to the sender.

Notable Features:

• Accept and Ignore multiple alerts
• Can accept or reject and ignored alert at a later time
• Available views of Unprocessed, Accepted, and Rejected alerts

Notes:

• Alerts must have a VALID customer and move type to be processed
• A confirmation message is sent when an alert is accepted or rejected
• Alerts that are marked ignored are not rejected, just postponed for later processing
• Once an alert has been accepted or rejected, the alert status cannot be changed
