Notes

 

Summary:
The notes screen allows the user to append/view additional information about items in the system such as shipments or customers.

Accessing The Screen:

  • Select the Notes Icon on the related screen (Shipment, Customer).

Notes Basics:

  • Additional information about a shipment or a customer can be managed and viewed from the notes screen.
  • If the note pertains to a shipment, it can be added to the Crown Connect site by checking the Web Viewable box.
  • Notes can be edited by double-clicking on the note line.
  • The list of notes can be arranged by selecting an option from the Sort By list.
  • New notes are entered in the New Notes field.

Note: A username and timestamp is always tagged to a note. The user who entered a note is tagged on the note as Entered By and any user that edits the note is tagged to the note as Updated By.
