Using The EDI Management Screen

Summary: Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) allows users to electronically communicate critical shipment data with shipping customers. The EDI Management Screen shows the EDI options and statuses for all of the available modules.

The EDI Management Screen is divided into four key sections.

  1. Available EDI Services
    • Shows the status of available EDI services
    • Allows for setting and updating the parameters for these services
  2. EDI Data
    • Shows the information about EDI point usage
    • Standard Points are the standard monthly points included with the service
    • Reserve Points are the additional points that can be purchased and are only used once the monthly points have been exceeded
  3. Status Messages
    • The list of status messages from the outgoing transmissions
    • Show All Messages: Shows all status messages, not just errors
  4. Outbound Transmissions
    • The list of outgoing messages that have not been sent yet
