Accessing the System Fuel Surcharges:

Select Data Setup -> Rates -> Fuel

Entering A New Fuel Surcharge:

Fuel %: Sets the fuel surcharge percentage you would like calculated on the shipments.
Fuel Per Mile: Sets the fuel surcharge you would like calculated per mile on a mileage table when used.
Effective Date: Sets the effective date for the fuel surcharge. This allows for the entry of fuel surcharges in advance, rather than waiting until the day it is to take effect.
Expiration Date: Sets the expiration date for the fuel surcharge.
- Example: If you are going to increase your Fuel Surcharge next week, you would enter the date you would like the old Fuel Surcharge to expire and enter a new charge to take effect thereafter.
