Release Notes

Following is a list of features added to current version Crown Freight Manager 5 in the update to version 5.2.0.4. Included with the list of new features is a brief description of each.
  1. You can change the default Estimated Time of Arrival on the shipment information screen. This can be changed by selecting, company setup from the file menu and selecting global options.
  2. We have added the ability to do a Mileage lookup by zip codes on the shipment information screen. This can be done if you click on the binoculars next to the mileage entry box on the shipment information screen.
  3. The City and State information will now enter automatically on the shipment information screen after the zip code is entered. After you enter the zip code and you tab off the field the city and state will be entered.
  4. The ability has been added to do a mileage quick rate when no calcing a shipment. When no calcing a shipment if you click on the $ button next to the amount it will pull box so you can rate a shipment and transfer the amount to the shipment.
  5. We now have a print button on the top of the shipment information screen. The items that can be printed are the pickup card, delivery receipt, airbill half sheet, airbill laser and a lot label. The screen will remember your last output.
  6. When dittoing a shipment the alerted date and time will now carry over.
  7. We have added a hotkey to get to the Dims section on the charges tab. The hotkey combination is alt+I. Then just hit tab and enter to get to a new Dim entry.
  8. You can now change the tag# alias term code to whatever is wanted. This is the three letters in the beginning of the tag#. This can be done by selecting terminals from the file menu. The tag# alias can be changed on the right side of the terminal maintenance window.
  9. We have created a Forward Air lot label that can be printed. When selecting to print out a lot label you can choose between a Forward Air lot label and a standard. This can be done using the lot label format drop down menu.

Following is a list of reports that have been added or expanded in the current version of Crown Freight Manager 5 in the update to version 5.2.0.4.

  1. We have added invoice comments on the POD report print out.
  2. On the Check Register billing report it is now sorted by date and then by customer.
  3. The Collections billing report can be printed either by customer id of by customer name. This can be done by clicking on the sort order drop down menu.
  4. The DIM weight has been added to the POD report print out.
  5. A new invoice summary report has been added. This will give you a summary of the invoice with totals, pieces, weight and dim information. This report can be printed by clicking on the drop down arrow next to the printer on the billing screen.
  6. We have added a Customer Stations report that can print out the station information added on a customers file. This report can be found in the maintenance reports gallery under customer reports.
