With just a few clicks of the mouse, ad hoc, pre-defined, or shipment information based messages can be sent directly to the assigned driver. This eliminates the need for a second communications program, driver pager lists, and double entry of shipment information. This component is shipment sensitive - it knows the selected shipment’s information, and the assigned driver. If they have an alpha pager and will automatically send the shipper’s address, ready close times, comments, pieces, and weight.
