Crown Freight Manager
Crown Freight Manager (CFM) is a completely integrated Microsoft SQL Windows-based software application designed to automate a trucking company's core business. The software was first released in 1997 to address the needs of trucking companies involved in local and regional freight movements. Crown Data Systems recognized the void in the software industry to address the intense management and paperwork required to process freight movements at the "shipment level". While there were an abundance of products on the market designed for the truckload industry or the on-demand messenger industry, finding a product that would both address the shipment processing (tracking, rating and billing) along with controlling the paperwork flow in a cost-effective manner was a difficult task.
Today, CFM is being utilized each day by over 80 trucking operations in North America. Crown Data Systems released the newest version of the product with CFM Version 5 in December 2005. Crown Data Systems is committed to maintaining the ongoing development and support of the software to keep up with the evolving changes of our customers and the trucking industry. The company is continually integrating surrounding technologies such as EDI, 2-way mobile data communications and GPS to leverage the investment of our customers leading to increased productivity and higher levels of service to their shipping customers.
