Crown Data Systems, headquartered in Buffalo, New York, was incorporated in 1997. The company's founder, Michael King, leveraged his 25 years of experience in the trucking industry to develop technologies that would provide freight operations with a high return on investment. Crown Data Systems understands today's need to develop software that will be easy to use and offer the flexibly to handle to unique aspects of the different types of freight services. The company also realizes the importance of providing products and services to our customers in a cost-effective manner.

Crown’s core product, Crown Freight Manager (CFM), continues to evolve as a leading software application in the trucking industry. CFM manages shipments automatically through dispatch, manifesting, rating, invoicing and accounts receivable. CFM is continually updated and enhanced to coincide with the evolving changes of the freight industry.

Crown Data Systems recognizes that service and support are as important as the quality of the software we develop. The company places a high value on employees that are experienced with freight operations and understand how to best utilize CFM products within organizations. To facilitate the installation and conversion process, Crown has developed a unique approach to installing CFM in which we set up the data for our customers prior to coming on-site for training.

A new sales office was opened in Atlanta in the spring of 2003 in anticipation of today's growth. Updated technologies with 2-way mobile data communications and EDI continue to expand our market opportunities. Our newly written CFM Version 5 adds even more power and flexibility to our products to ensure we maintain Crown Data Systems' status as an industry leader.
